Burda Direct is an international service provider for dialogue marketing and customer service. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Hubert Burda Media, the company is part of a global media group, and connects markets, media and people. Burda Direct, established in 1998, has enormous marketing reach. The company maintains 12 million active customer relationships as well as serves 8 million subscribers and 400,000 Direct Shop customers.
Arvato services has been supporting the Burda subsidiary since 2002, helping it acquire new subscribers for diverse publications through the online bonus-program »webmiles.« On this platform, 2.6 million registered users can select from titles in the »magazine kiosk« area of the Web site.
In addition, selected magazines are integrated into webmiles’ communications activities like newsletters, banner ads and e-mail campaigns. The efficiency of the individual activities is documented in regular reports and included in strategic considerations.
