The DOCUgroup is an international alliance of media and service companies that is a leading provider of speciality information in Europe for the construction industry. Through its services and media with more than 100,000 daily B2B contacts and over 140,000 construction projects researched every year, the DOCUgroup provides up-to-the-minute information about construction projects, building products, investment plans, support programs and sector innovations as well as news from the sector and the world of architecture and customer-focused communication solutions.

Following the integration of the construction information business unit of Springer Science+Business Media, bringing standardization to the finance and accounting systems was a critical step needed to meet the increased demands placed on costs, quality and speed.

Drawing on its years of experience as a financial services provider, arvato services helped the DOCUgroup carry out its restructuring.

To offer the DOCUgroup a holistic service range and to ensure professional introduction of the new IT systems, arvato services developed carefully coordinated, practice-oriented solutions. In the process, it was able to tap its extensive base of knowledge in the accounting area, including receivables and creditor management, as well as in IT.
