- Setting up an infrastructure for shrink-wrapping up to 5 million EINKAUFAKTUELL packages (TV listings and up to nine selective inserts) each week

Twice a week, EINKAUFAKTUELL offers regional household advertising in combination with useful information to consumers. The package of entertainment and advertising piques the interest of potential customers, making it the ideal medium for advertising and insert activities.
Deutsche Post AG launched the EINKAUFAKTUELL project in 2003 in the metropolitan area of Hanover, Germany. Since then, the concept has been gradually expanded to Germany’s most important metropolitan areas. Today, EINKAUFAKTUELL reaches up to 14.7 million households each week – with the exception of those who choose not to receive advertising – in consumer-heavy regions of Germany.
arvato services has been supporting this success story for more than two years, producing an output of up to 5 million packages a week at the moment.
To ensure that every region receives its individual Post product, arvato services selectively bundles up to nine inserts in every shipment according to pre-set specifications and then wraps them in plastic. Automatic processing of misprints completely safeguards production.
For this task, Deutsche Post needs arvato to be the partner who can reliably support delivery at a continuously high quality level.
